Ladder to Infinity Scarf

Scarf measures 6" by 60", start/end ends attached to form a circle. You can wear it either long or doubled. In this version each "rung" is a different combo of multiple strands of scrap yarn, the ends are tied to make fringe. This would also look great just using one yarn, solid, varegated or a long stripe painted yarn(Noro type), smooth or thick n thin. Chunky works best(say for a #13/#15 needle). With using one yarn the fringe is optional.

Paintbox Fair Isle Stuff

Pattern is shown on a pair of wrist warmers(easy! just a tube!), but can be done on a basic mitten, neckwarmer, leg warmers, hat, short sleeved yoked cardi etc, child's boxy jacket, backpack). The point of this fair isle pattern is to play with color. I think it would be fun to print a chart that can be colored in(if it's okay for people to make copies of it to try different colorways). Wrist warmer measures 9" tall x 8 1/2" around. Use any sport weight wool.

Aspen Leaf Scarf

I used a variety of worsted wools for this scarf, but Plymouth Galway does have matching colors for those I used in their line. It would also look great in one color. Instead of trying to weave in the ends(it woudl just look messy on a stripey scarf like this), I just knotted them for a touch of fringe. The colors I used were deeper than the photo shows, basically plum, teal, olive, russet, loden, lime,gold/ocher, burnt orange, burgundy, periwinkle. Scarf measures 7 1/2" x 80"

Things to do with a sphere

Same basic pattern, three different results--Christmas ornament, juggling balls, pumpkins. I used Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport for the juggling balls, various sport wools for the ornaments, and the pumpkins were made with the same stitch count, but with different weight yarns--a lightweight worsted, a heavy worsted(Peacefleece) and a bulky. I stuffed the balls with a ball made of waste yarn. I makes a nice firm sphere and also the balls bounce good and have a little weight so you can really throw them and hit your target. The pumpkins were made squat by tacking the "poles" of the stuffing ball together.

Kelp Scarf and Hat

Plymouth Boku, worsted weight wool/silk blend. Easy texture pattern that ripples in and out with the pull of ribbing(no inc/dec).
